Certification Of The Copy With The Original Document
A consular officer is authorized to certify the compliance of a copy of the document with the original. It is also possible to certify a copy of the duly certified copy of the document.
The Consulate can only perform notary activities with respect to citizens of Georgia or stateless persons with respective status in Georgia.
The service fee for certifying each copy is 3 USD payable by money order written out to the Consulate General of Georgia in New York.
In order to certify the copy of a document with the original please make an appointment
Please bring the following documents:
- Copy of the valid Georgian passport or ID card;
- 3 USD money order written out to the Consulate General of Georgia for each copy.
